But in 2019 Mr. Obama seems to have found the drawer where the former First Lady puts all his “retired” clothes. Or maybe he got a new pair of mom jeans because, well, he just feels comfortable in them whenever he’s attending a major sports championship. Because it isn’t just baseball’s World Series that makes Obama reach for the comfort of his mom jeans. The NBA Finals are, it turns out, another occasion to break out his special pants.
Obama arrived in Toronto for Game 2 of the NBA Finals wearing a gray pair of mom jeans, put together with a black shirt, black belt, and an expensive designer take on the classic black leather biker jacket. Below is the salt-and-pepper haired former POTUS arriving in his interesting fashion combo. Note the tightly tucked shirt, a mom jeans must. Also, these jeans are tighter than the original mom jeans that Obama wore — mom jeans have evolved that way, according to fashionistas.
