In the Season 1 finale of FAM, “This is Fam,” it’s day before Clem (Nina Dobrev) and Nick’s (Tone Bell) wedding, and it’s not smooth sailing. When the young couple go to get their marriage license, they discover that Clem is already married. That funny “pretend” wedding she and her gay best friend (Blake Lee) had on a lark in Vegas was actually legit in the eyes of the law — so now they need to get divorced within 24 hours. On top of that, Clem’s father Freddy (Gary Cole) surprises the bride with a video left by her deceased mother Molly for her wedding day.
Clem’s deceased mother Molly is portrayed by actress Lindsey Kraft. She’s known for her roles on The Big Bang Theory (Marissa, wife of Penny’s ex Zack), Grace and Frankie (Allison), Living Biblically (Chip’s wife Leslie Curry), HBO’s Getting On (Marguerite Macaw), and Third Watch (Penelope), among others.
