On the Teen Mom OG episode “Roll with the Punches,” while Catelynn breaks the news to her daughter Nova that she’ll be out of town for two days, Maci and Taylor take the kids to visit Taylor’s family in Fort Worth, Texas. While they’re away, one of the Teen Mom OG producers, Dave, sits down with Ryan’s parents, Jen and Larry. He asks how often they get to see Bentley, Ryan’s son with Maci.
Jen says “There’s really no set schedule, rhyme or reason.” She adds that she texts Maci every weekend. Sometimes Maci texts back, sometimes she doesn’t. She and her husband Jeff smile and laugh and say, “We’re just the grandparents we don’t really have any rights.” Jeff says, “We’re learning to adapt because she (Maci) makes the rules” which they say they respect but they don’t always like the rules. Jen laughs, “She probably doesn’t like that I ask for Bentley every weekend” but “I can’t help myself.” Jeff says, “You gotta ask.” Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9 pm on MTV.
