In the TV movie The Reluctant Nanny, Libby Prescott (Jessy Schram) moves to Los Angeles to start a new job after her start-up company fails. But when she arrives for her first day of work, it turns out to be her last. And then her purse is stolen. While chasing down the thief, she meets police officer Dan Connor (Aaron Hill). He hires her as his live-in nanny, to watch his two foster kids while he’s at work. It’s not an easy job, and while Libby faces more obstacles, she does find love.
Irene is portrayed by Alley Mills. She’s recognized for her roles on The Bold and the Beautiful (Pamela Douglas), Yes, Dear (Jenny Ludke), Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (Diana Spellman), Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (Marjorie Quinn), and The Wonder Years (Kevin’s mother, Norma Arnold), among others. The Reluctant Nanny will make its premiere on LMN on Tuesday, August 23 at 8pm.
