The writers of HBO’s True Blood suprised almost everyone when they killed off Joe Manganiello’s manly werewolf character Alcide Herveaux. Not only was he shot in the chest and face but by humans, too. But Manganiello is okay with his final scene, in fact, he predicted it last year.
Now that he’s free of werewolves and zombies, Manganiello can pursue his professional dream of directing – he’s already got the Dallas male strippers documentary La Bare in the can, and a comedy from How I Met Your Mother writer Gloria Calderon Kellett in the works. And let’s not forget his personal pursuits: he’s now dating Modern Family’s Sophia Vergara.
