Maya Smith is the young woman from Inglewood, California who’s competing on Season 10 of The Voice. At her Blind Audition, she sang “Do Right Woman, Do Right Man” which landed her a spot on Team Pharrell. (She fought off a giggle when Pharrell turned his chair around. Christina Aguilera turned around, too.) In preparation for the Battle Round, Maya and school teacher Hannah Huston are rehearsing with Pharrell and their selected mentor, Sean “Diddy” Combs.
On Twitter, Maya describes herself as “a hippie at heart.” The Voice fans haven’t seen that side of her yet, but they can’t wait. This could be Diddy’s first hippie. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
