Sammy DiDonato of Omaha is known for staring. That’s right, staring. A video of him staring down a TV camera at the NCAA College World Series last summer went viral – it’s been viewed close to 50 million times (see below). Now he’s headed to Little Big Shots where he will stare down Steve Harvey. Sammy’s mom Trish, who went with him to Los Angeles to film the episode, says she was impressed with Sammy. “I don’t think I would have been that cool and calm.”

Sammy was staring down the camera while at the TCU vs. Coastal Carolina game, during the bottom of the seventh. (Coastal Carolina went on to win the championship, the school’s first.) P.S. He is the son of retired Omaha Police Lt. Chuck DiDonato. So not blinking might just be in Sammy’s genes. Little Big Shots airs Sundays at 7pm and 8pm on NBC.
