Every year viewers of the dating competition TV show The Bachelor complain that the current season is the worst season. And Season 21 featuring 35-year-old Wisconsin native Nick Viall is no exception. Many fans complain on The Bachelor Facebook page that Nick is “a fame whore” and that the tears the women shed on the show are “fake.” However, based on viewer ratings, The Bachelor Season 21 is doing just fine. While the season started with 6.6 million viewers in the 18-49 age demo, by mid-February nearly 1 million additional viewers (a total of 7.4 million) tuned in to watch “playboy” Nick fool around with bachelorettes including nanny-loving Corinne.

Wendy Shelley Kirkland agrees, “Luke would’ve been the (MUCH) better choice, and everyone is realizing it now.” The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
