In the TV movie Nanny Nightmare, Lauren Bell hires her longtime neighbor Owen (Jake Manley) to help care for her newborn baby girl Riley. But as in most movies on Lifetime, the babysitter develops an unhealthy obsession with the mother and child and believes he is a better man for Lauren than her detached husband James (Brady Smith). And yes, Owen is willing to fill in.
Lauren is portrayed by Erin Cahill. She’s known for her role as Ted Mosby’s irresponsible sister Heather on How I Met Your Mother and in the films Power Rangers Time Force (Jen/Pink), Boogeyman 3 (Sarah), and Fast Track: No Limits (Katie). Nanny Nightmare premieres on LMN on June 17 at 8pm.
