Pelican 212 is the family band that performed the Sister Sledge hit “We Are Family” for their audition on America’s Got Talent, Season 12. Led by 12-year-old trumpeter twins Max and Kolbe Rees, Pelican 212 was enthusiastically voted through by all four judges — Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel.

Sure there are 7 Rees kids in Pelican 212, but there are actually 10 kids in the Rees family. In addition to the twins there are: Katie (the eldest) on guitar; Angelle on drums (sometimes piano); Marie (trombone, bass), Giovanni (trumpet), and Mollie (trumpet and sometimes drums). This isn’t the first time the Rees family band has been on TV. They performed on Little Big Shots in 2016, and in January played at Donald Trump’s inaugural ball. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
