On the Love & Hip Hop New York episode “The Blame Game,” makeup artist Jonathan Fernandez says the past few months have been great for him. “I’m secure at the bank and I’m single and loving it.” Before celebrating his 34th birthday, Jonathan wants to make sure Kimbella and Yandy are okay to be in the same room. While hanging out with Kimbella and Cyn outside of Macy’s in Midtown Manhattan, Jonathan brings up Yandy. Kimbella aassures him that there’s no problem, “she’s just not my friend.”
Kimbella is all up in arms about Yandy posting a happy birthday “loyal” friend kind of post on Instagram after months of not talking to each other. Kimbella says she only has three real friends right now: Jonathan, Cyn and Juju, who Jonathan says is “a very closed off girl.” Kimbella backs Juju up and says, “I thought that at first too but you have to earn it from her.” Jonathan says he’s still heartbroken over her “stabbing me in the back.” Jonathan says he shared a radio idea with her, and then she took it, pitched it for herself and landed the deal by herself. Jonathan announced to Kimbella and Cyn, “Juju is fake, honey. Juju is as fake as a two dollar bill.”
[Some $2 bills are more valuable]
Note to Jonathan: Two-dollar bills are real, honey. According to the U.S. Treasury Department, “The $2 bill has not been removed from circulation and is still a circulating denomination of United States paper currency.” In 2007, there were $1,549,052,714 worth of $2 bills in circulation worldwide. That’s more than $1.5 billion, Jonathan! Love & Hip Hop New York airs Mondays at 8 pm on VH1.
