Louis C.K. delivered a passionate pitch for Hillary Clinton on Conan O’Brien earlier this week. Saying that America had had enough “Dads” in charge over the years, the comedian said he’s excited to have the first Mom in the White House. Because Moms just get it done. It’s not just that Clinton is a woman, Louie says, but that she’s a Mom that makes it great.
Then using his famous expertise in summation, Louis divided the American electorate into three types. Here’s his conclusion:
Type 1: If you vote for Hillary, you’re a grown up.
Type 2: If you vote for Trump, you’re a sucker.
Type 3: If you don’t vote, you’re an asshole.
Louis, like many Clinton voters, think there isn’t much you can do about the suckers. (That’s always the way with suckers.) But the assholes could really ruin things with their reluctance. Not voting means no real democracy.
