Maureen McCormick was Marcia Brady and no one will ever forget it. McCormick tried, but then she learned to embrace her place as the famous elder daughter on the strangely iconic 1970s sitcom The Brady Bunch. All the kids — and the Brady parents too — had to find a way to live knowing they’d always be Bradys.

McCormick came full circle with her Marcia Brady closure this week on Dancing With the Stars. She not only danced to the Brady Bunch theme song, she had Florence Henderson, 82, there to support her. (Hendeson was a contestant on DWTS in 2010, too.) Henderson, of course, played mom Carol Brady — another role that was hard to escape. Seeing the TV mother and daughter together brought joy to a lot of fans. It’s interesting to consider that Maureen McCormick, now 60, is now 25 years older than Florence Henderson was when she began playing the Brady matriarch in 1969.
