In the Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders episode “El Toro Bravo,” Jack Garrett (Gary Sinise) and the International Response Team travel to Pamplona, Spain. The town is famous for the annual running of the bulls. When the ears of a missing American who ran with the bulls are found, the investigation leads the team to a priest named Father Consolmango. Garrett thinks the priest knows more than he’s saying.
Father Consolmango is portrayed by Tony Plana. The Cuban-born actor is known for his roles on Madam Secretary (Admiral Ed Parker), The Fosters (Victor Gutierrez), The Blacklist (Mr. Diaz), Desperate Housewives (Alejandro Perez), Ugly Betty (Betty’s dad Ignacio Suarez), 24 (Omar), and Resurrection Blvd. (Roberto Santiago), among others.
