On the Supergirl episode “Manhunter,” while Siobhan (Italia Ricci) plots to bring Kara (Melissa Benoist) down, J’onn J’onzz (assuming Hank’s identity), dishes details about meeting Alex’s father, Dr. Jeremiah Danvers. (He adopted Kara.) Without giving away too much, they met in the woods and it involved a giant snake.
Alex’s father is portrayed by Dean Cain who’s best known for his role as Superman on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Since then he’s had recurring roles on The Division (Inspector Jack Ellis), Hope & Faith (Larry Walker), Las Vegas (Casey Manning), and more recently, Hit the Floor (Pete Davenport). Supergirl airs Mondays at 8pm on CBS.
