In the premiere of The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, the LAPD investigates the murders of 35-year-old Nicole Brown Simpson and her 25-year-old friend Ronald Goldman. On June 12, 1994, they were both found stabbed to death outside Simpson’s Los Angeles home. Simpson’s ex-husband, former NFL player O.J. Simpson, was the prime suspect who famously went on the lam in his white Ford Bronco.

O.J. Simpson is portrayed by Oscar-winning actor Cuba Gooding, Jr. Nicole Brown Simpson is portrayed by lesser known actress, Kelly Dowdle. The 31-year-old model/actress from Texas has appeared in the 2006 films Big Momma’s House 2 (Surf Shop Girl) and Eve of Understanding (Tina), and in the 2007 horror flick Underbelly (Checkered Flag Girl).
