In the TV movie A Date to Die For, mother of two Laura Armstrong is going through a divorce. She says she’s not ready to date again but when her friends set her up with a handsome single dad in the neighborhood she accepts. Their first date goes so well that at the presumed end of the date, she invites him in. Problem is when Laura wakes up the next morning, she finds him dead in her bed. He didn’t have a heart attack. There’s a knife sticking out of his chest. And yes, Laura is struck with a classic case of Lifetime movie amnesia.
