But she didn’t have to stay calm, cool and collected to do it. Drew did it her way, holding onto the wildness without letting the wildness do her in.
The David Letterman career tribute on CBS, A Life on Television, wouldn’t be complete without Barrymore’s serpentine desk dance on Letterman’s birthday back in 1995. And the flash, of course. Dave stays typically cool, saying Morley Safer did the same thing on the show. Let’s hope Safer’s dance comes out of the vault for the special.
