Toma Dobrosavljevic is one of the three finalists on the weight loss competition TV show, The Biggest Loser. The winner will be announced live on NBC (January 29, 8pm). At the beginning of the show, Toma weighed 336 lbs. Last we saw the 33-year-old project manager from South Chicago weighed 199 lbs. That’s 137 lbs.!
As an athletic kid, Toma played everything from football to tennis to volleyball but soccer was his favorite and the one in which he excelled. But that was 20 years ago. As an adult, he got a serious wake-up call when a life insurance agent told him that he was barely insurable due to his 336 lbs. weight. He said once he lost the weight, “he hopes to be able to try out for a professional soccer team.”
