Emma Watson’s rousing speech at the United Nations is getting more publicity–the good kind, this time, instead of the negative feedback the actress received from some sections of the Internet. She asked some of her celebrity male friends to endorse her campaign HeForShe. The actress tweeted “if you really want to make my day take a picture of you signing up or send me a picture with why you support gender equality #heforshe”. Well, they have. Russell Crowe, Tom Hiddleston, Kiefer Sutherland, and Simon Pegg, as well as many others, have thrown their names (and faces) behind Watson’s campaign.
Lena Dunham even has a suggestion with what to do with all the photos: “All these dudes holding up #HeForShe signs on @EmWatson‘s timeline should be made into a sexy calendar,” she tweeted.
.@EmWatson you are impeccable & extraordinary. I stand with you. I believe in gender equality. #heforshe pic.twitter.com/xXQsyJ7WfP
