In Season 3 of Ladies of London, many of the women and their husbands are experiencing life-changing events together. Marissa Hermer is having a baby; Julie Montagu has taken over her husband’s family estate; and Caroline Stanbury is moving to Dubai with her husband. Alex Stanbury is the CEO of the oil and gas company River Petroleum Corporation, so it’s no surprise that he often travels. But in a Season 3 preview of Ladies of London, at a formal event, Sophie is crying as she says, “You’re all with your husbands and mine is not here.” Sophie and Alex are divorcing.
