At the fourth and final night of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, before Hillary Clinton gives her acceptance speech as the presidential nominee, her daughter Chelsea Clinton will speak. In the audience is Chelsea’s husband of six years, Marc Mezvinksy. The 38-year-old former Wall Street investment banker is from Philadelphia. Both his parents were former Democratic members of Congress: Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky (PA) and Edward Mezvinsky (Iowa).
After graduating from Stanford University (where Chelsea also went), Marc Mezvinsky earned his master’s degree in politics, philosophy and economics from Oxford (where Chelsea also went). Marc and Chelsea started to date in 2005 while Mezvinsky worked at Goldman Sachs. With two Goldman partners, Mezvinsky later opened the private equity firm Eaglevale, which is named after a bridge in Central Park. Marc and Chelsea married in 2010. They are the parents of two young children – Charlotte, who will turn two in September, and Aidan who is just one month old.
