In the TV movie A Date to Die For, Laura Armstrong (Victoria Pratt) is going through a divorce and trying to start over. With the help and support of her friends including Rachel, Laura finally goes out on a date. Everything goes well, maybe too well. When her date walks her to the door, Laura invites him in. Next thing Laura remembers is waking up and finding her date dead in her bed with a knife sticking out of his chest — and there’s blood all over her hand.
