On the How to Get Away with Murder episode “I Want You to Die,” while Annalisa (Viola Davis) represents a client who allegedly made someone suicidal, Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) asks Oliver Hampton to join Annalisa’s team. Oliver did kid about getting paid for helping Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee).
Oliver is portrayed by Conrad Ricamora. HTGAWM is his first TV role. After getting his MFA from the University of Tennessee, he did a lot of regional theatre work including Romeo and Juliet at the Utah Shakespeare Festival and The Taming of the Shrew at the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival. Ricamora is now starring in the Broadway musical The King and I at Lincoln Center Theater. He plays Lun Tha, the emissary to the Prince of Burma and doomed lover of Tuptim. Before the lovers’ deaths, they sing the famous Rodgers and Hammerstein song “We Kiss in a Shadow.” The tune has been recorded several times by many different artists including Neil Sedaka, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day and Barbara Streisand. HTGAWM airs Thursdays at 10pm on ABC.
