Kate Pierson of the B-52s married her longtime partner Monica Coleman in Hawaii this week. They’ve been dating since 2003. At the wedding, Sia performed a song she wrote for the newly married couple, it’s called “Crush Me With Your Love.”
Together Pierson and Coleman run two “hotels.” Kate’s Lazy Meadow is located in Mount Tremper, New York near Woodstock in the Catskill Mountains. There are nine “atomically designed, mid-century modern suites right on the Esopus Creek.” Kate’s Lazy Desert is located in the High Desert in Landers, CA near Joshua Tree. There they keep six vintage Airstream trailers. Monica is an artist and designer, too. She recently provided the artwork for Kate’s new single Bottoms Up and she directed Kate’s Mister Sister video (see below).
