While her husband, actor Ben McKenzie (Gotham, Southland, The O.C.), promotes his book, ‘Easy Money: Cryptocurrency, Casino Capitalism, and the Golden Age of Fraud,’ actress Morena Baccarin (also of Gotham) is promoting (pre-strike) her upcoming movie Fast Charlie.
With the photo below — that’s former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan on the right — Baccarin writes: “Just another day at the office. Fast Charlie coming soon.”
Baccarin’s fans and famous friends are going wild over the photo. Novelist and Brooklyn bookstore owner Emma Straub (Books Are Magic) replied: “Definitely thought this was another vacation pic and that things took a turn” with a laughing crying emoji.
Celebrity makeup artist Matin replied: “Wait are you guys serial killers or cops? Hard to tell,” with another laughing crying emoji.
Above is Brosnan with the late James Caan on the set of Fast Charlie (originally titled Gun Monkeys). The Oscar nominated Caan (The Godfather, Misery) died in 2022. This will be Caan’s final film appearance.
In the action thriller Fast Charlie, Brosnan plays the protagonist, Charlie Swift, “a fixer with a problem: the thug he’s whacked is missing his head and Charlie will only be paid if the body can be identified.” Baccarin plays the victim’s ex-wife, Marcie Kramer, “a woman with all the skills Charlie needs.” No word yet on a release date.
Get ready to see even more of Baccarin: she is reprising her Marvel Cinematic Universe role as Vanessa Carlysle, fiancée of Wade Wilson, for Deadpool 3 with Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Jennifer Garner. The third installment of the popular superhero movie is scheduled for a May 3, 2024 release.
