Hawaiian-born actor Jason Momoa made a big splash in Hollywood when he made his debut in the series Baywatch: Hawaii. Since then, he’s landed roles in the Syfy series Stargate Atlantis, Game of Thrones, and entered the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) when he first took on the role of underwater superhero Aquaman in 2016.
When not on a movie set, Momoa is often enjoying the great outdoors. When the non-profit Coral Gardeners shared the photos below, of a shirtless Momoa doing “some hands-on gardening to restore the ocean one coral at a time” in French Polynesia, the organization explained that Momoa is a long-time supporter and ambassador of Coral Gardeners.

Momoa’s fans are going wild over the never-been-seen photos. As one fan replied: “Aquaman is real, I knew it.”
