In the Season 6 premiere of NCIS: New Orleans, while Agent Dwayne Pride (Scott Bakula) takes his girlfriend Rita Devereaux (Bakula’s real life wife Chelsea Field) to meet his mother (Joanna Cassidy) for the first time, Agent Hannah Khoury (Necar Zadegan) is suspended for breaking protocol during a joint investigation with the FBI.
She has to answer to NCIS Deputy Director Van Cleef, who’s portrayed by Richard Thomas.

Thomas is best known for his iconic role as John Boy on The Waltons. He is also known for his roles on Billions (Sanford Bensinger), The Americans (Frank Gaad), The Adventures of Swiss Family Robinson (David), Roots (Jim Warner), and in films including Wonder Boys (Walter Gaskell), and Stephen King’s IT, among many others.

Thomas launched his acting career on Broadway at the age of 7: he played FDR’s son John A. Roosevelt in the play “Sunrise at Campobello.” In 2017, he was nominated for a Tony Award for his role in “The Little Foxes.”
