Before Woody Harrelson became a Hollywood movie actor and was nominated for an Academy Award three times (The People vs. Larry Flynt, The Messenger, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), he got his big break on TV as Woody the bartender on Cheers. The 57-year-old actor from Texas is returning to TV to perform live in front of a studio audience in Norman Lear’s All in the Family as Lear’s most iconic character Archie Bunker.

Harrelson most recently starred in the film The Highwaymen with Kevin Costner. Harrelson and Costner play two former Texas Rangers who try to track down the notorious Bonnie and Clyde. The film premiered at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas on March 10, 2019 during the South by Southwest film festival. Based on the video Harrelson shared that day, looks like Harrelson rode his bike to the opening…with six of Austin’s finest by his side!
