On the Teen Mom: OG episode “Friends in Need,” while Maci visits Catelynn at rehab, one of the producers sits down to talk with Amber and her fiancé Andrew. Producer David approaches Amber and says, “I’ve noticed you’re really upset about what everyone is saying about you on Twitter.” Amber has been criticized for not seeing her daughter Leah for three weeks while filming a show (Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars: Family Edition) during Leah’s summer break. Anonymous people on social media have also criticized Amber for “getting depressed after breaking up with some loser.” (The loser is her ex-fiance Matt Baier, with whom she was on Marriage Boot Camp.) Andrew jumps in, “Yeah, some of the stuff is just disgusting, and just very dark and twisted.” He adds, “There’s just really some gross stuff.”
[Never Too Late?]
Amber says she can’t help but to retaliate sometimes. But as she says, “I’m going to be a mother of two, I can’t act like that anymore.” But she doesn’t know how to “let it go” as her fiancé suggests. “And then my fans start hating me because of it.” She gets teary saying, “I’m dealing with so many people right now who call me a bad mom” she believes “because of a few months of depression.” Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
