The final and third week of Live Shows will be broadcast on America’s Got Talent, Season 12 on August 29. Twelve talented acts are competing for 7 spots at the semi-finals which starts on September 5. One of those 12 acts is the dance troupe Diavolo. The acrobatic act incorporates big architectural structures on stage to tell visual stories. For their audition, Diavolo dancers leaped off a rocking boat structure. AGT judge Mel B was disappointed at the length of the act. “It was too short!” she cried. For their Judge Cuts performance, they flew off a moving train.

Diavolo has announced that their Live Shows performance is “so insane, the structure has been put away for nearly a decade!” One fan left a comment: “Oh no, dreamcatcher!” More than 10 years ago, Diavolo performed “DreamCatcher” which featured a gigantic moving spool similar to a Ferris wheel or a spinning circular web that filters dreams in Native American mythology. The Diavolo dancers climb and drop and dance between the spokes of the wheel. See below. America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC.
