In the film Custody, Judge Martha Schulman (executive producer Viola Davis) presides on a child abuse case. The mother of two young children, Sara Diaz (Catalina Sandino Moreno), has been accused of child abuse. She is represented by fresh-out-of-law-school attorney Ally Fisher (Hayden Panettiere). The personal drama of all three women unfolds outside of the courtroom. At home, Judge Shulman realizes her marriage to her husband Jason is coming undone.
Jason Shulman is portrayed by Tony Shalhoub. He’s known for his TV roles on Nurse Jackie (Dr. Bernard Prince), Monk (Adrian Monk), and Wings (Antonio Scarpacci). Shalhoub is also well recognized for his roles in the films Men in Black (Jeebs), Big Night (Primo), I.Q. (Bob Rosetti), Honeymoon in Vegas (Buddy Walker), and The Coen Brothers’ Barton Fink (Ben Geisler), among others. Custody premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, March 4 at 8pm.
