The kids talent show Little Big Shots made a big splash in 2016 with host Steve Harvey. He introduced and interviewed talented young people on the big stage including 8-year-old boxer Evnika Saadvakass. Her Russian father Rustam has been training her as a boxer since she was three years old. Since her appearance on Little Big Shots, Evnika hasn’t stopped training. In January, her family YouTube account posted a video of Evnika boxing in her room and taking aim at a globe and a closet door.

The Saadvakass family added this explanation with the video (which is below): “If your child can break his room and is not afraid to break a globe on which he was ‘forced’ to learn and know the geography, he feels more than free. After we allowed Evnika to destroy everything in her room, and make a hole with her bare hands in the door, her performance in school improved.” Little Big Shots returns to NBC for its second season on Sunday, March 5 at 8pm.
