In the NCIS: New Orleans episode ‘Hell on the High Water’, Pride (Scott Bakula) climbs aboard a deep-sea oil rig in order to investigate a murder. But while he’s on the rig, they discover a dangerous gas leak. You know who doesn’t like to hear about potential explosions on an oil rig? The CEO of the oil company.
CEO Sarah Laroche is portrayed by Debra Monk. She’s known for her roles on Bryan Cranston’s Sneaky Pete (Connie), Mozart in the Jungle (Betty), Reckless (Judge Gertrude Moss), Girls (Dr. Sterns), Damages (Deniece Parsons), Grey’s Anatomy (Louise O’Malley), and NYPD Blue (Andy’s ex-wife Katie Sipowicz, for which she won an Emmy Award), among others. Monk also won a Tony Award for her performance in Redwood Curtain in 1993. NCIS: New Orleans airs Tuesdays at 10pm on CBS.
