Country singer Jamie Lynn Spears, little sister of Britney Spears, was having lunch in Hammond, Louisiana when a fight broke out. Punches were thrown and captured on a surveillance camera.
To help break up the fight, the 23-year-old Spears walks confidently behind the sandwich counter and picks up a knife. She waves it at the people fighting–to scare them away. The man behind the counter calls the police. He doesn’t flinch when he sees Spears with the long knife or when she approaches him. Would he have stood so closely to Spears wielding a knife if she wasn’t a celebrity? Or if she wasn’t white? No arrests or charges were made.
