Justin Timberlake is that rare star beloved by kids and adults alike. From his NSFW skits on Saturday Night Live and the occasional racy bits with Jimmy Fallon after hours, the singer actor easily shifts into kid mode.
At a recent concert Timberlake met his No. 1 fan–or at least a pretty strong contender–a ten-year-old in a tux who had a gift for the singer. With the normal audio background of girlish screaming accompanying his chat with the young fan, Timberlake reached out and took a small box from the boy. In it was a bow tie–a nod to Timberlake’s Rat Pack affection and stylish rep. It also happened to match the one the kid was wearing. Timberlake was visibly moved. So after he told his new friend that it was “the greatest gift ever,” the performer gave the kid a verbal gift in return. “You’re the coolest dude here,” Timberlake told him as the crowd screamed again. It’s something the kid will likely remember long after the singer has misplaced his brand new tie.
