Actor John Stamos (ER, Full House, General Hospital) is a big Elvis fan. His voice is featured on the iPad tour of Graceland! So, it’s no wonder he had the honor of turning on the holiday lights adorning Graceland, Elvis’s former home and now museum in Memphis, this weekend. At the lighting ceremony, with young patients of Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Stamos wore side burns and a pompadour in honor of the King. When asked about his new hairdo, Stamos joked: “This is a new wig. I put a special wig on for tonight.”
Surprisingly, Stamos’ next role isn’t Elvis or even an Elvis impersonator. He’ll be appearing in the upcoming ABC musical comedy Galavant. He describes it as “a cross between The Princess Bride and Monty Python.” Perhaps he’ll get to keep those sideburns after all.
