Artist Jillian Mayer (with computer programmer Eric Schoenborn) has created a video called EraseyPage.com. The artist appears on camera as a pop-up spokesperson who encourages visitors to live an Internet-free and happy life simply by deleting one web page at a time. Participants are encouraged to type in a web address of their choosing and then virtually erase it (using a giant eraser like the one in MS Paint).
The video made its debut at the Bass Museum of Art in Miami Beach. It will soon be available online, leaving it vulnerable to being erased!
