In the 2 Broke Girls episode ‘And the Jessica Shmessica’, Caroline (Beth Behrs) meets Bobby’s (Christopher Gorham) family. While Caroline does her best to make a good impression, her best might not be good enough. Bobby’s mother, Teresa, and his big sister Denise (Kerri Kenney-Silver), won’t stop comparing her to Bobby’s ex-girlfriend Jessica.
Teresa is portrayed by Nora Dunn. The former Saturday Night Live cast member is known for her roles on the TV shows Chicago Med (Daniel’s psychiatrist), New Girl (Schmidt’s mom Louise), Entourage (Dr. Marcus), and The Nanny (Dr. Reynolds), among others. Dunn is also recognized for her roles in the films Bruce Almighty (Ally), Pineapple Express (Shannon), Three Kings (Adriana Cruz), and Working Girl (Ginny), among others. 2 Broke Girls airs Mondays at 9:30pm on CBS.
