On the Season 3 premiere episode of The Rap Game, music producer Jermaine Dupri challenges the five young rappers to an introductory freestyle rap. The object of the challenge is to provide Jermaine with a sense of each performer is as a rapper. Some stumbled but not Al’Dreco Jones aka King Roscoe. The 13-year-old from Atlanta conveyed how dangerous things are out there and even gave a nod to his deceased father. Jermaine was impressed.
In his latest song, “Daddy Can You Hear Me” (see video below), King Roscoe talks to his father (Al’Dreco Booker) who was murdered (shot in the chest) in December 2002. He was 27. Booker’s murder is still unsolved. The Rap Game airs Fridays at 10pm on Lifetime.
