In the NCIS episode ‘Shell Game,’ while Abby knits special gifts for the new agents Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito), a kidnapped petty officer escapes her captor. Now it’s up to Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the team to find her missing husband. During the investigation, the NCIS team works with NCIS Special Agent Tony Francis.
Agent Tony Francis is portrayed by former NFL player (Kansas City Chiefs, Atlanta Falcons) and studio analyst for The NFL Today show Tony Gonzalez. He currently holds the NFL records for receptions (1,325), touchdown receptions (111) and total receiving yards (15,127) by a tight end. The 6’5″ actor will appear next in the 2017 film xXx: Return of Xander Cage with Vin Diesel, Nina Dobrev, Samuel L. Jackson and Toni Collette. (See him and stunt double on set below.)
