It’s Round 3 of The Knockouts on The Voice, and it’s not getting any easier for the coaches to choose. On Team Alicia, Michael Sanchez is at the piano singing the Bill Withers song “Just the Two of Us” originally performed by Grover Washington, Jr. Even his competitor Sa’Rayah is getting into it, mouthing the backup vocals. And then Sa’Rayah sings Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody” and hits some unbelievable notes.
Afterwards, Miley Cyrus turns to Alicia Keys and says more than once, “I love him” meaning Michael. Miley says she thinks Michael, who she calls “Super super special,” won the Knockout. Adam Levine agrees. While Sa’Rayah did light the room on fire with her performance, Levine says Michael is so unexpected. He says “Michael’s like ‘You don’t think I’m as dope as I am, but I’m a killer‘. He’s like ‘I’m a murderer.’” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
