In the Season 2 premiere episode of Growing Up Hip Hop, ‘Blinged Up, Throne Down’, after spending a few months in Mexico working on his movie, Romeo Miller returns home. A lot has changed. For starters, he learns that Angela Simmons is suddenly engaged to a mystery man. And then he’s told by his father Master P, that Romeo’s mother, former rapper Sonya C, is suing them. Master P tells Romeo, “She’s suing me, she’s suing you, I mean, we could lose it all.”
Sonya C Miller is listed as one of the original members of TRU (The Real Untouchables) with Master P on No Limit Records. Sonya and Master P were married for 25 years and have seven children. Their divorce and custody battle has been a bitter one. Growing Up Hip Hop airs Thursdays at 9pm on WEtv.
