Actress Camila Mendes is best known for her TV role as Veronica Lodge in the long-running teen drama Riverdale with Lili Reinhart as Betty and KJ Apa as Archie. As seen below, Mendes has been sharing photos from her experience filming the last episodes of the series — the grand finale will air on August 23 on CW.
In the interim, Mendes turned 29 and celebrated with “thee people i love most while eating the food i love most” (Brazilian bbq). When Riverdale fans swiped the photos below, many were shocked to see actor Grant Gustin at Mendes’s house birthday party.
Gustin is best known as Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash on the CW series The Flash, which also just came to end after nine seasons — see BTS finale photos below. (Riverdale is running its seventh and final season.)
When fans of both CW shows identified Gustin in the photos and video (in Slides #5 and #6), more than one voiced their surprise. As one replied: “YOU KNOW GRANT GUSTIN???? I’m in AWEEE” Another chimed in with the pleasure of seeing the real life crossover: “barry allen and archie andrews😀.”
Note: Mendes is wearing FarmRio’s Pink Copacabana Mini Dress, which features a “fresh cut-out silhouette that ties at the neck (beaded tassels are a colorful plus, hun?).”
