Hollywood star Laura Harrier gained recognition for her role as Liz Allan in the 2017 superhero film Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017 with Tom Holland and Zendaya, which marked her breakthrough in the industry.
Following her Spider-Man success, Harrier landed several other roles including Patrice Dumas in the 2018 critically acclaimed film BlacKkKlansman directed by Spike Lee.

White Men Can’t Jump is a remake of the 1992 film about a pair of basketball hustlers who team up to earn extra cash. Wesley Snipes, Woody Harrelson and Rosie Perez starred in the original film written and directed by Ron Shelton (Bull Durham, Tin Cup).
