Canadian pop punk star Avril Lavigne has made her presence at Paris Fashion Week well known. She sat front row with American celebrities Jessica Alba and Noah Cyrus at the Stella McCartney show, and got chummy with Halsey at the Lanvin show.
She was also photographed kissing American rapper Tyga (above).
For a Paper magazine pictorial, Lavigne posed with both middle fingers raised (aka an aggressive gesture known as ‘flipping the bird’) and in a white blouse decorated with a giant upside-down anarchy icon. She is dressed in VETEMENTS, which sells its “double anarchy” t-shirts at luxury department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue. One fan replied, “Punk AF.”
Get ready to see more of Lavigne: she’s kicking off her (sold out) European tour in two weeks.
