In the Season 4 premiere episode of Ballers, “Rough Ride,” Spencer (Dwayne Johnson) and his business partner Joe (Rob Corddry) consider buying an extreme-sports LA outfit. Meanwhile, Jason (Troy Garity) tries to set Spencer up with high school prodigy quarterback Quincy Crawford (Eli Goree). Meeting Quincy means meeting his single, public defender mother Jayda Crawford.
