On the How to Get Away with Murder episode “Ask Him About Stella,” while the K4 works on Annalise’s (Violet Davis) class action lawsuit, Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) gets a call from Frank (Charlie Weber). Frank is trying to use the SS7 program to hack Dominic’s phone records. Laurel (Karla Souza) pleads with Frank not to — as it would piss off her father Jorge (Esai Morales) who could keep Laurel from seeing her newborn son. Frank promises he’ll stop but ends up with the phone records and concludes that Laurel’s divorced parents are working together.

Laurel’s mother Sandrine is portrayed by Lolita Davidovich. She’s known for her roles on Law & Order True Crime (the late Kitty Menendez), Shades of Blue (Ray Liotta’s wife Linda Wozniak), Blood & Oil (Annie Briggs), True Detective (Cynthia Woodrugh), and in the films including Gods and Monsters (Betty), Blaze with Paul Newman (Blaze Starr), and Raising Cain (Jenny), among others. Fun fact: Davidovich is been married to Oscar-nominated screenwriter Ron Shelton (Bull Durham, Tin Cup, White Men Can’t Jump). How To Get Away with Murder airs Thursdays at 10pm on ABC, right after Scandal.
