In the Season 7 premiere episode of Homeland, “Enemy of the State,” Saul (Mandy Patinkin) and 200 other members of the intelligence community are in prison under President Keane’s (Elizabeth Marvel) orders. Carrie (Claire Danes) is working on their release while she and Franny stay with Carrie’s older sister Maggie. The last time Homeland viewers saw Maggie was in the 2014 episode “Long Time Coming,” at their father Frank’s (James Rebhorn) funeral. Carrie gave the eulogy and kicked their estranged mother Ellen (Victoria Clark) out of the house.
