Yolanda Hadid was a star on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (2012-2016). She left the show after suffering from health issues related to Lyme Disease and before divorcing from her husband, famous music composer David Foster. Now a single working mom in New York City, Hadid appears healthy enough to star in her own reality show, Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid. As she writes in the afterword of her memoir Believe Me (link below), “I feel better than I have in many years” and “I am eager to continue to build on what feels like remission.” The 53-year-old Dutch-American says she “feels healed.” As a former professional model, Yolanda is now trying to help aspiring teen models (with their mothers by their sides) with their careers. Yolanda is the mother of “it” models Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Anwar Hadid.

Hadid describes Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid as an eight-week boot camp. The winner of the show gets a management contract with Hadid’s modeling company and a shot at representation by IMG Models in New York, the agency that represents both Gigi and Bella Hadid. Yolanda tells the five aspiring models, “You can all be a Gigi or a Bella.” Making a Model with Yolanda Hadid airs Thursdays at 10pm on Lifetime.
